Since its inception in 1999, Sabari Distribution has grown into one of India's most trusted and preferred distribution partners, consistently delivering value through integrity, reliability, and customer-centric execution.

Founded by the visionary duo Shri Shashi Kumar and the late Shri P. K. Rajan, Sabari embarked on its journey on 21 September 1999 with a clear purpose—to build a future-ready distribution organization grounded in strong partnerships and ethical business practices. This vision soon found its first expression through a landmark association with Procter & Gamble, setting a strong foundation for what would become a transformative distribution story.

Building Strong Foundations

Sabari began operations in Kochi, gradually expanding its presence across key markets in Kerala. Through disciplined execution and a strategic approach, the organization quickly established itself as a dependable partner in the fast-moving consumer goods landscape. Early expansion into major regional centers strengthened outreach and laid the framework for sustained growth.

A defining phase in SDPL's journey began in 2005 with the appointment of Mr. M. V. Rajesh as Chief Executive Officer, now Director and CEO. Under his leadership, the organization embraced values-driven growth, strengthened its operational backbone, and fostered a strong culture of customer-centricity. This period marked a transition from regional success to large-scale operational excellence.

Expanding Reach and Recognition

Sabari's commitment to excellence has been recognized at national and international levels, earning many accolades reflecting the organization's unwavering focus on performance, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Strategic Brand Partnerships

In 2011, Sabari entered the travel and lifestyle category through a strategic partnership with Samsonite, bringing globally renowned brands such as American Tourister and Kamiliant into its portfolio. This partnership became a cornerstone of Sabari's growth, strengthening its presence across new consumer segments.

The portfolio further diversified in 2016 with the addition of Britannia, one of India's most trusted household brands. This association aligned seamlessly with Sabari's mission of delivering quality, reliability, and joy to everyday consumers.

Beyond Geographic Boundaries

Sabari's growth journey extended beyond Kerala in 2020, with the commencement of operations in Madurai for the American Tourister brand. This marked the organization's successful entry into new markets and its ability to scale operations efficiently.

In 2021, Sabari launched Procter & Gamble operations across Coimbatore, Erode, Tiruppur, and the Nilgiris, executed seamlessly to ensure uninterrupted service. The region quickly emerged as one of the fastest-growing operational territories, reinforcing Sabari's capability in managing complex, large-scale transitions.

Advancing into Healthcare

In 2023, Sabari strengthened its collaboration with Procter & Gamble through the addition of its healthcare portfolio, reinforcing its role in delivering essential wellness products with care, compliance, and consistency.

With C&F operations experience since 1993, she managed Direct Marketing functions during SDPL’s early years and has been a key contributor to the company’s growth. She is also the wife of the late Mr. P. K. Rajan (Co-Founder).
